The YMCA can come to you with a range of activities to get you fitter, stronger and healthier. We have many activities to choose from or we can tailor a program for your function or group. Community programs are run by experienced and professional instructors. These qualified instructors are dedicated to extracting the maximum fun and fitness out of every program.
Older Adults Fitness Class: North Ballarat Sports Club
Class times: Mondays: 10.30am - 11.15am (excluding Public Holidays)
Wednesdays: 10.30am - 11.15am
Where: North Ballarat Sports Club, Creswick Road, Ballarat.
Delacombe Walking Group
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Doug Dean Reserve at 9.30am. All levels of fitness welcome.

Time: Thursdays 5.30pm - 6.30pm (sessions run in six weeks blocks during school term time)

Programs that the YMCA can facilitate for your groups upon request:
General fitness circuit aimed at improving co-ordination, cardio-vascular fitness, strength and endurance. Circuit programs can be adjusted to different groups accordingly.
We can tailor a program specifically designed for older adults to assist in physical fitness, fall prevention and general health and well being. Some examples would include Tai Chi, Walking Programs and Low Impact Aerobics.
A great way to get fitter, stronger and healthier, but even more fun in a group! Fitness instructors take your group for a fun and enjoyable walking session, using different techniques to improve your health and well-being.
We can provide yoga classes targeted to any age, working on gentle stretching, muscle building and balance. Props and equipment provided.
