This week, which is National Child Protection Week, the Y’s National Safeguarding Unit launched the Stay Safe, Tell Someone program as part of the organisation’s new approach to keeping children and young people safe. Havilah Road Preschool is looking forward to an upgraded inclusive playground. The $85,800 grant from the Inclusive Kindergarten Facilities Fund was announced last week by Maree Edwards, State Member for Bendigo West during a visit to the Preschool. City of Greater Bendigo Council is also contributing $30,000 to the project.  Read More

ReCranked in Schools launches for 2020
Our ReCranked van is kitted out and on the road, ready to deliver term one’s Recranked in Schools program at five schools in the Ballarat region. It’s expected that during the first half of this year, 100 students in grade 5 and 6 will take part in the program which provides practical and hands-on approaches to learning. Read More
